ID sought for dead man
WEATHERSFIELD -- Investigators were trying Saturday to identify a white man found dead on Bundy Lane. Capt. Mike Naples said there was no identification on the man.
A Trumbull County emergency dispatcher said a man discovered the body about 5:15 a.m. Saturday, across the street from a landfill near the Youngstown border.
Weathersfield police along with the Trumbull County Homicide Task Force, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the county coroner are investigating. No other information was released Saturday by authorities.
Suspect surrenders
WARREN -- Daryll Henderson, 33, of Warren was being held without bond in the Trumbull County jail Saturday night after turning himself in to Warren Township police about 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Henderson is accused of fatally shooting 24-year-old Bobby Hughley III at American Legion Post 564 on Bane Street in the township about 11 p.m. Thursday.
Senior health fair set
GIRARD -- A senior health fair will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Girard Multi-generational Center on Trumbull Avenue, the former Tod Woods School.
The fair, sponsored by the city health department, will include 45 vendors. Flu shots will be available for $10. There will be blood pressure, stroke, foot and bone mass screenings and diabetic assessments and education.
Tuba Christmas 2002
NILES -- Tuba Christmas 2002 is set for two performances Nov. 30 at Eastwood Mall.
