ANNUAL EVENT BPJWL to sponsor holiday craft show at Stambaugh



Proceeds will benefit those with special needs.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Americana, country, Victorian and primitive crafts will be exhibited by more than 65 juried crafters during the Boardman-Poland Junior Women's League's 22nd annual "A Williamsburg Christmas -- Once Upon a Christmas" fund-raiser to be held Nov. 22-24 at Stambaugh Auditorium, 100 Fifth Ave.
The festivities will get under way with a gala preview night beginning at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 22. Tickets are $15 and must purchased in advance from league members, at Rainbow Comics, 7510 Market St., or by calling (330) 758-3268. There will be hors d'oeuvres, wine and punch.
Honorary governor at the gala will be Delores Crawford, director of Mahoning County Department of Human Services.
On Nov. 23 the craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Nov. 24 the hours will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children 6 and older. On Sunday, patrons who donate a new children's book for the OFWC Libraries 2000 and Beyond project will receive $1 off the admission fee. Lunch will be available both days.
Proceeds from the craft show and preview night will benefit Metro HeartReach RAD Camp, Youngstown Speech and Hearing, T.O.P.S. for Kids, YMCA Boardman Handicap Accessible Equipment, Challenger Baseball and the BPJWL Community Special Needs project.
