GIRARD
Nov. 4
Criminal damage: A city recreation department vehicle had its passenger-side window broken.
Assault: While intervening during an argument between his daughter and her boyfriend, a man in the 400 block of Parkview Drive reported her boyfriend struck him.
Threat: A woman in the 60 block of Mohican Drive reported that a disgruntled teenager sent her daughter a threatening e-mail.
Nov. 5
Criminal damage, theft: A woman reported that her van's steering column was damaged and several wires were cut, and that a citizen's band radio was removed from inside.
LIBERTY
Oct. 28
Domestic violence: A 46-year-old Girard man was charged with domestic violence after a woman in the 1300 block of Shannon Road said he was drunk and became abusive when she refused to give him a set of car keys. The woman also said he used a fireplace shovel to strike her vehicle.
Oct. 29
Auto theft: A woman reported her GMC Jimmy stolen while she was at BP gas station, 2703 Belmont Ave.
Oct. 31
Criminal damage: Someone slashed two tires on a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of Logan Way.
Criminal damage: Someone used a knife or other sharp instrument to damage two tires each on a truck and vehicle in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
Nov. 1
Warrant: After pulling over a vehicle for having no headlights, police arrested a 31-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.
Arrest: A 33-year-old Girard woman surrendered to police and was charged with one count each of forgery and taking the identity of another.

Threat: A man in the 400 block of Ventura Road reported that someone called his residence and threatened his life.
Nov. 3
Arrest: A 43-year-old man was arrested at the Knights Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Purse-snatching: A woman in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road reported that a man sneaked up behind her and stole her purse as she was going into Armando's Restaurant Pizza Carryout, 3807 Belmont Ave.

Domestic violence: After responding to a hang-up 911 call, police arrested a 31-year-old Youngstown man on a domestic violence charge after a woman in the 300 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road said he punched her in the face, pulled her hair, struck her with an exercise bar and sprayed her with a chemical device. The victim had a cut on her lower lip and swelling on her face.
Warrant: Police arrested a 40-year-old Youngstown man at the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and charged him with failure to appear in court on various traffic violations.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop, police arrested a 24-year-old Youngstown woman on one count of failure to appear in court to face a drug abuse charge.
HUBBARD
Oct. 31
Possible fraud: A woman in the 500 block of Grace Street called police after receiving mail and three suspicious telemarketing calls for someone else's identity.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 10 block of Highland Drive reported that someone deliberately damaged several tires on her vehicle.
Nov. 3
Criminal damage: Damage was done to a truck in the 100 block of North Main Street.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen while she was at Michael's Place, 862 N. Main St.
Nov. 5
Warrant: A Hubbard woman was charged with one count of failure to appear in court and on charges of drug possession and providing false information to a police officer.
Burglary: A woman in the 900 block of Saul Drive alleged her son stole several of her granddaughter's DVDs.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Peoples Building Co., 39 Erie St., reported someone broke into the business.
