XYOUNGSTOWN -- Fellows Riverside Garden in Mill Creek Park provided the setting Oct. 5 for the wedding of Meredith Edgar, 1712A E. Garfield, New Springfield, and Daniel Bailey, 322 Orchard Court, Columbiana.
Parents of the bride, who will use the name Edgar-Bailey, are Paula and Luke Edgar, 142 N. Elm St., Columbiana, and the groom is a son of Marcia and Gary Bailey of the Orchard Court address.
The 12:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the groom's father. The couple were honored afterward during reception at the Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana, then they left for a honeymoon in Riviera Mexico.
They live in New Springfield.
The bride was gowned in a champagne-colored satin dress adorned with pearls and highlighted by a cathedral train. She wore a strand of pearls from the groom's mother.
Honor attendant was McKenzie Nesselrote of Washingtonville, who wore a burgundy dress. Wearing sage-green dresses were junior bridesmaid Paige Harris and flower girl Ashlyn Harris, the bride's nieces of Columbiana.
Andrew Bailey of Youngstown performed the duties of best man for his brother. Dylan Spence of Warren, the groom's cousin, was a groomsman, and Caine Apinis of Washingtonville was ring bearer. Paul Edgar of Kent, the bride's brother, was an usher.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in sociology at Kent State University. She is a caseworker at Community Corrections Association.
Mr. Bailey is a self-employed cabinet-maker.
