ASSOCIATIONS
XBoardman Civic Association will hold its quarterly dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Community Center in Boardman Township Park. XYoungstown Charter Chapter of American Business Women's Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Anthony's On-The-River for a dinner of Swiss chicken, potatoes, vegetable, salad, tea and coffee. XVFW Post 3307 Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 20 at the post. Wanda Thompson, District 8 president, will attend for the annual inspection.

CLUBS
XTrumbull Garden Forum will meet at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at the Golden Gate Restaurant in Warren. Guests are welcome. Tickets for the buffet luncheon are $10. XHBA Women's Council of Mahoning Valley, 25 Idlewood Road, will hold a dinner meeting and silent auction Nov. 26 at St. Nicholas Activity Center on Shady Run Road. GUILDS
XAmerican Sewing Guild, Niles Chapter, will hold a holiday party and meeting Dec. 7 in the Garden Room at Vernon's Cafe, Route 422, Niles. The buffet menu includes wedding soup, beef tips, chicken, fish, potato and vegetable. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Two gift baskets will be raffled. Christmas stockings will be judged and then filled and donated to Northeast Ohio Adoption Service. Items will be accepted for a Chinese auction. XThe League of Women Voters of Trumbull County will hold an orientation brunch at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Avalon Inn, East Market Street, Howland. A doctor from the Cleveland Clinic will discuss brain surgery.
