Cars collide on I-680
YOUNGSTOWN -- A northbound car in the southbound left lane of I-680, south of Midlothian Boulevard, forced a southbound vehicle in the same lane to crash into the concrete median to avoid a collision between the two vehicles at 1:17 p.m. Friday, police said. Police listed the wrong-way driver as Jean L. Fazekas, 72, of Sigle Lane, Boardman. Driving the vehicle into the median was Robert D. Thomas, 48, of Woodlawn, Road, Poland. Reports gave no explanation why Fazekas was going the wrong way. No injuries were reported.
