Minihorse donated
Minihorse donated
DEERFIELD -- A miniature horse has been donated by Pam Martin of Dalton to the Joyce and Tim Adams family, whose own tiny horse, Eddy, was killed.
Silverhawk, a 6-month-old stallion born May 11, will arrive Sunday. Eddy had been a pet to the Adams' 12 grandchildren. Eddy was stolen from a pasture Oct. 28 and later found beaten to death. To help find out who killed Eddy, donations have been coming in to offer a reward for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
Daughter-in-law Robin Adams said today that $9,200 has been collected so far. To contribute, call Robin Adams at (330) 547-8816. Anyone with information about the beating should contact the Animal Protective League of Portage County at (330) 296-4022.
