Doctor reports threats
STRUTHERS -- A day after the sudden, unexplained death of an employee, a local physician told police she has received threatening telephone messages. Dr. Heather A. Petrolla told police that soon after the woman's death Saturday, the woman's boyfriend called the physician's home and accused her of being responsible for his girlfriend's death. The following day, the physician discovered the boyfriend had also left a message on her office answering machine. In the recorded message the man again accused the doctor of being responsible for his girlfriend's death and threatened that the doctor's "troubles just began." Struthers police and Poland Township police are investigating.
