Last year: Sweden's Annika Sorenstam completed a two-week Japanese sweep, winning her eighth and final title of the year at Musashigaoka in Saitama.
Last week: South Korea's Grace Park won the World Ladies Match Play Championship in Narita, beating Japan's Midori Yoneyama on the 22nd hole. Park also beat Japan's Mikino Kubo, Australia's Karrie Webb and Japan's Yuri Fudoh.
Notes: Sorenstam, coming off a first-round loss in Narita, has nine LPGA Tour victories and 11 worldwide titles in 23 events this year. She leads the money list with a record $2,479,404. ... South Korea's Se Ri Pak has five victories and is second with $1,612,518. She also lost in the first round last week, ending her two-tournament winning streak. ... Sweden's Carin Koch, four months' pregnant with her second child, was third in Narita after finishing second to Pak in consecutive events. ... Canada's Lorie Kane won in 2000 at Seta, beating Sweden's Sophie Gustafson in a playoff. ... The top 30 players on the money list after the tournament will advance to the season-ending ADT Championship on Nov. 21-24 at Trump International in West Palm Beach, Fla. ... The Hyundai Team Matches are next week in Dana Point, Calif.

Last year: Allen Doyle won the four-man event for senior major champions, beating Tom Watson by two strokes in St. Augustine, Fla.
Last event: Watson won the season-ending Senior Tour Championship in Oklahoma City on Oct. 27.
Notes: Originally scheduled for Our Lucaya in the Bahamas, the unofficial tournament was moved to Superstition Mountain late last week. ... Fuzzy Zoeller, Jim Thorpe, Don Pooley and Stewart Ginn won their first senior major titles to earn spots in the field, with Thorpe taking The Tradition on Superstition Mountain's Prospector Course. Zoeller won the Senior PGA, Pooley took the U.S. Senior Open, and Ginn won the Senior Players. ... The tournament is closed to the public. ... The UBS Warburg Cup is next week at Sea Island in Georgia. Arnold Palmer will captain the U.S. team and Gary Player will direct the Rest of the World squad in the Ryder Cup-style event for players 40 and older. ... The Hyundai Team Matches also are next week in Dana Point, Calif.
