Surprise dinner held to celebrate Ezzo jubilee

XGIRARD -- Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Ezzo, 970 N. Ward Ave., were honored Nov. 2 at a surprise dinner at the Brittany Place in Niles for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the honorees' children, Jim Ezzo and Michael and Miranda Ezzo, all of Girard; Patty and Tim Myers of Poland; and Marilyn and Joe Pape of West Middlesex, Pa.
The former Angela Ambrose and Mr. Ezzo exchanged marriage vows Oct. 28, 1952, at St. Rose Church.
Retiring after 42 years of service, Mr. Ezzo worked as a quality-control inspector at Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-47.
Mrs. Ezzo was employed at Sparkle Market in Niles and was involved in various volunteer organizations.
Mr. and Mrs. Ezzo are members of St. Rose Church and the Knights of Columbus.
The family circle includes six grandchildren.
