Gunfire injures Campbell man

YOUNGSTOWN -- A Campbell man was in stable condition in St. Elizabeth Health Center Saturday night with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Walter Green, 21, of Jackson Street, said he was walking near the intersection of Midlothian Boulevard and Market Street at about 9:30 p.m. Friday when he heard gunshots and felt a pain in his leg. He was later found lying next to the Consolidated Ambulance building on Southern Boulevard, and was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth's.
Police said they followed a trail of blood from the ambulance building to a house on Southern Boulevard occupied by five people. Four of the people told police that two masked men had burst into the house and fired several gunshots. Reports do not say if there were any other injuries. The home's residents said the two masked men left after firing the shots.
