XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Danielle E. Curd and Dormayne LaMont Carter, both of Columbus, was solemnized by the Rev. Robert Solomon at 11 a.m. Oct. 5 at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park.
The bride's parents are Robert and Frances Curd, 7401 W. Parkside Drive, Boardman. Parents of the groom are Sheila Carter of Columbus and Roger White of Lorain.
After the ceremony a champagne brunch was held at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitors Center in the park.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, and live in Columbus.
The bride's A-line ivory organza gown featured spaghetti straps. The skirt was embellished with embroidered rum-pink flowers and flowed into a chapel train.
A mottled-gold gown was worn by the bride's cousin and honor attendant, Jama Greene. Flower girl was the groom's daughter, Arion Carter, in an ivory gown.
Best man was the groom's brother, Ronald Lewis, and ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Duane Davis II. Ushers were the bride's cousins, Jason Moutry and Gildey Jackson. Also participating were the bride's niece, Mackenzie Davis, and her cousin, John Greene.
The bride, a graduate of Ohio State School of Cosmetology in Columbus is a self-employed hairstylist at Queen Bee Salon in Columbus.
The groom graduated from Ohio Valley Christian College in Parkersburg, Va., and is a telecommunication specialist with Dependable IT in Columbus.
