An armed robbery is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Robbery.
Location: Sharon.
Details: Police are investigating the armed robbery of an employee of Papa John's Pizza Shop at 1006 E. State St. around 12:50 a.m. Oct. 27. Police said a man with a handgun entered the store and demanded cash. The employee handed over an undisclosed sum and the gunman ordered him into a freezer before fleeing. The employee got out of the freezer and called police.
Suspect: The robber was described as a white man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds. He had dark hair and a dark-colored beard and was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with a white plaid hood and blue jeans.
