XYOUNGSTOWN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Andrea M. Drozda and Douglas R. Sage II, both of 43 Green Bay Drive, Boardman, as they were united in marriage by the Rev. Ash Welch during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 12 at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park.
A reception was held afterward at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in the park for the daughter of Rose M. Drozda, 516 Tenney Ave., Campbell, and the late Steve Drozda, and the son of Douglas R. and Sandra L. Sage, 10972 Olmar Drive, Chardon.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Steve Drozda Jr. of Ijamsville, Md., wore a strapless A-line gown of ivory satin embellished with embroidery and featuring a split-front overskirt and a chapel train.
Serving as honor attendants were the bride's nieces, Jessica Mancini of Boardman and Brittany Yurchyk of Canfield, who wore cinnamon-colored gowns.
The duties of best man were shared by Dennis Stock of East Palestine and the groom's brother, David Sage of Chardon. Ring bearers were the bride's nephews, Zarek Drozda of Ijamsville and Johnny Yurchyk of Canfield.
The bride and groom are pursuing bachelor's degrees at Youngstown State University, hers in education and his in business administration.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to Aruba and live at the Boardman address.
