The totally appealing/appalling boy report, from Seventeen magazine:
Sweet
My house caught on fire and I was left with permanent scars on my face. The day I left the hospital, my boyfriend, Adam, dumped me. I knew it was because of the way I looked. When I got home, my friend Cameron was waiting for me. He held a bouquet of long-stemmed white roses with a note that said: "You are the most beautiful girl in the world and so special to me." I cried because I was so touched that Cameron saw the real me, even through a face full of scars. He and I have been together ever since.
Slimy
I had a huge crush on this guy, Nick. I wrote him a note and asked if he'd go out with me; he wrote back and said yes. I was really excited! Halloween was coming up, so the next day I asked if he'd like to go trick-or-treating with me and my friends. He said he had to leave and that he'd let me know later. But he just disappeared. My friends had to tell me he didn't really want to go out with me. He only said yes because he was dared to.
