MERCER COUNTY Man is guilty of sex offense
MERCER, Pa. -- A Sharon man was sentenced Thursday in Mercer County Common Pleas Court to seven to 20 years in prison for a sex offense involving a 13-year-old boy.
Jeffrey Slicker, 49, of Elm Avenue, Sharon, pleaded guilty to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse between November 2001 and February.
A man who held a pistol to another's head outside an area high school, meanwhile, was sentenced to two to six months in jail and a year's probation.
Gregory Knauf, 19, of Patricia Drive West, Transfer, pleaded guilty to possessing firearms without a license and two counts of simple assault in the July 30 confrontation in the parking lot of Kennedy Catholic High School, Hermitage.
Knauf, who was involved in an ongoing dispute with several other men over a woman, placed a cocked and loaded pistol to the left temple of one man and later held a knife to his throat.
John Antonino, 30, of West Ridge Avenue, Sharpsville, was sentenced to three to 12 months' house arrest with electronic monitoring and one year's probation for acquiring a controlled substance by misrepresentation. He acquired OxyContin by presenting a false prescription at Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Hermitage.

David Bittler, 25, of Elm Avenue, Sharon, was sentenced to 30 days' house arrest and 18 months' probation for corruption of minors by smoking marijuana with a 14-year-old boy at Bittler's residence.
Christina Campbell, 24, of Davis Street, Masury, was placed on one year's probation for simple assault for an April 1 attack on a woman at the victim's Mesabi Street address in Sharon.
Campbell and a companion roughed up the woman, then Campbell watched as her companion struck the victim on the head several times with a lamp.
Melissa Rhoades, also known as Melissa Wheaton and Melissa Rho, 25, of Laird Avenue, Wheatland, was sentenced to 30 days to 18 months in jail and one year's probation and ordered to perform 75 hours of community service for arson.
Rhoades set her Oakleaf Mobile Home Park trailer on fire Dec. 26. After it burned down, she tried to collect the insurance money on the James Street residence in Shenango Township.
Harry Trump IV, 19, of Prindle Street, Sharon, was placed on two years' probation and ordered to make restitution for a Jan. 21 spree in which he shot out windows in several cars parked on Erie and Grant Streets in Sharon.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal mischief and was ordered to make restitution.
Dennis McMenamin, 33, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to one to two years in prison for retail theft. He was caught April 6 with clothes stolen from the Tommy Hilfiger store at the Grove City Outlets in Springfield Township.
