MARIETTA (2-5, 1-5 OAC)vs. MOUNT UNION (7-0, 6-0)
Game time: 1:30 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium, Alliance.
Scouting report: Mount Union beat Capital, 38-22, to extend its NCAA-best winning streak to 35 games; while Marietta nipped Wilmington, 32-31. Junior TE Randall Knapp caught five passes for a career-high 120 yards and one TD. Senior RB Dan Pugh had a career-high 252 yards rushing in a career-tying 40 carries and two TDs. Senior DE Matt Campbell had a career-high 15 tackles, with three sacks and six tackles for losses of 44 yards.

DENISON (1-6, 1-3 NCAC)vs. HIRAM (0-7. 0-4)

Scouting report: Denison lost to Allegheny last week, 50-16, while Hiram dropped a 22-10 decision to Kenyon. Senior WR Ryan Hite of Denison caught five passes for 38 yards and one TD against Kenyon, to set the school record for TD receptions in one season with 20. For Hiram, freshman RB Tim Anderson rushed 205 yards in 32 carries -- his second 200-yard game this season. Senior LB Brad Maguth had 10 tackles for his sixth this game this year with 10 or more tackles.
WESTMINSTER (5-2)vs. FROSTBURG STATE (4-3)
Game time: 3 p.m. at Cumberland High School Stadium, Cumberland, Md.
Scouting report: Last week, Westminster defeated Grove City, 19-7, while Frostburg scored a 35-14 win over Ursinus. Sophomore RB Scott Froelich rushed for a school-record 37 times for 178 yards -- his sixth straight 100-yard rushing game for Westminster. He boosted his career total to 1,053 yards to become the sixth Titan to surpass 1,000 yards in one season. Junior QB Matt Robison completed 14 of 23 passes for 165 yards. Senior MLB Joe Bianco keyed the Titans' defense with 13 total tackles, including eight solo hits.

THIEL (3-5)vs. SUNY-BROCKPORT (6-1)

Scouting report: Thiel lost to Bethany, 31-9, while Brockport was idle last week. Sophomore QB Daryl Moore of Thiel hit on 11 of 21 passes for 111 yards and one TD, a 5-yard scoring strike to senior WR Donte Harris. And Harris also reeled off a 61-yard kickoff return to set up Paul Stibich's 28-yard field goal. Stibich's FG made him Thiel's career kicking points leader with 78 in 18 games. Junior RB Justin Napotnik (Sharpsville) rushed for 81 yards in 20 carries to give him 1,428 career yards, which rank No. 10 in school history. Senior DB Jay Salman (Western Reserve) has five interceptions through eight games to tie for No. 32 in Division III national statistics.
ALFRED (3-5) vs. GROVE CITY (2-6)
Game time: 1:30 p.m. at Robert E. Thorn Field, Grove City, Pa.
Scouting report: Last week, Grove City lost to Westminster, 19-7, while Alfred lost to Hobart in two overtimes, 25-19. Bo Danton had a career-best four pass catches for 105 yards, including a 57-yard TD catch from Todd Smargiasso (Wilmington Area). Smargiasso completed seven of 12 passes for 104 yards and one TD. Mike Choby spearheaded the Wolverines' defense with 13 tackles.

SLIPPERY ROCK (6-2, 2-1 PSAC-WEST)vs. LOCK HAVEN (4-4, 1-2)

Scouting report: Last week, Slippery Rock topped Edinboro, 7-3, while Lock Haven was drilled by Indiana (Pa.), 37-14. Freshman RB Josh Kneiss was the first Slippery Rock ball carrier to rush for more than 100 yards in a game when he delivered 118 in 31 carries in the win over Edinboro. Junior QB Jeff Valentino (Sharon High) completed 12 of 23 passes for 135 yards, but was intercepted three times.

Scouting report: Malone romped over Urbana last week, 52-10, while St, Francis (Ind.) thumped Taylor, 35-20. QB Gary Rector set two records for Malone. He hit on 14 of 20 passes for 190 yards and a school-record four TDs. He also set a career pass completion record with 355.
