XYoungstown Eagles Auxiliary 213 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, and officers will meet at 7:15. Members are asked to donate items for a bake sale from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 8.

XCanfield Republican Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for a luncheon at Colonial Catering in Canfield. Shirley Pitzer will preside, and a program on Russia will be presented by Howard Mettee, chemistry professor at Youngstown State University. Joyce Galieti will give the invocation, and Ilene Shaffer will be in charge of table decorations.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XCatholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Ann 1875 will meet Monday following noon Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Church. A lunch of pizza and salad will be served, and there will be a canned-goods shower. There also will be a memorial service in honor of deceased members.
XHoly Name of Jesus Ladies Guild will meet at noon Wednesday. Hostesses for lunch will be Helen Balko and Fran Eichelberger.
XImmaculate Heart of Mary Altar and Rosary Society will hold a "Sharing and Caring" meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the school social hall. Members are asked to take bags of candy to be distributed at St. Vincent de Paul. Hostesses will be Marge Dinda, Jean Huntington and Theresa O'Connell.
XThe Ladies Altar Guild of St. John Lutheran Church will hold a Thanksgiving program at 1 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall. Mrs. Margie Tomo will preside.
XSt. Michael Altar Guild will meet Monday at St. Michael Church, Canfield. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 7 p.m.. in the church followed by the meeting in the parish center. XSt. Rose Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church hall. Mary Kovach and her committee will be hostesses. Members are asked to take items for a Chinese auction, and there will be a bakeless bake sale.
XSeton III will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday for dinner at the Saxon Club in Austintown. Guest speaker will be Bertram de Souza, editorial writer for The Vindicator. XUnited Methodist Women of Richard Brown Memorial United Methodist Church will meet Thursday at the church with Eleanor Harris presiding. A hot meal will be served at 1 p.m. by Jayne Jobe and her committee with the blessing by Barbara Jones who will also present a program with Dorene Oakley. The World Thank Offering will be accepted. The executive meeting will be at 12:15.
