WARREN -- An exhibit of tractors, trucks and "big boy toys" runs Tuesday through June 17 at the National Packard Museum.
On June 8-9, the museum grounds will have the "Big Boy Toys" exhibit from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone who owns a tractor, engine, truck or big toy of any kind may display it on the museum grounds.
Setup will begin at 9 a.m. with the show opening at 10 a.m.
Individuals exhibiting items at the show will receive free admission to the museum.
Food and beverages will be available on the grounds.
Damage from fires
YOUNGSTOWN -- Firefighters spent time Saturday at two calls that did $10,000 damage each.
About 8:20 a.m. a suspected arson was reported at 549 Almyra Ave. on the South Side. The fire started in a second-floor bedroom of the vacant, three-story home. One firefighter was treated for breathing problems; another was treated for an eye injury.
About 2:24 a.m., a fire was reported at 331 N. Lane Ave. on the East Side, which contained several units. The cause is under investigation. No one was home when the blaze broke out in the living room sofa.
Woman reports injury
YOUNGSTOWN -- A 44-year-old Republic Avenue woman told police Saturday she was cut from her wrist down to her knuckles in a domestic dispute.
The woman, treated for the cuts at Forum Health Northside Medical Center, told police a 43-year-old man in the house wildly swung two kitchen knives at her just after midnight after an argument over a television's being left on.
She was referred to the department's crisis intervention unit.
Food-safety workshop
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- A basic food-safety workshop for nonprofit organizations such as churches, fire companies, fraternal organizations and school groups is planned for 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Penn State Cooperative Extension Office in the Lawrence County Courthouse.
Topics include hygiene, food preparation safety and properly handling food. The cost is $5 per person.

Bingo games at mall
HERMITAGE -- The Shenango Valley Mall will continue to have bingo games on the first and third Wednesdays of every month throughout the summer.
The games, which are from 9 to 10 a.m., are free. Prizes include merchandise courtesy of mall merchants.
