PHOENIX -- Pollyanna Faria and Paul Wedra, both of 6058 W. Audrey Lane, Glendale, Ariz., exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. April 27 at St. Joan of Arc Church.
The Rev. Larry Weidner officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Frank Faria, 1627 Yolanda Drive, Youngstown, and Paula Faria, 3023 E. Friess Drive. The groom is a son of Frances Cunningham of New Jersey and Charles Wedra of North Carolina.
The bride wore a tank-style gown enhanced with beads and featuring a cathedral train.
Deanna Faria of Phoenix, the bride's sister-in-law, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Cheri Bucci of Youngstown; Elizabeth Tavares of Phoenix, her cousin; and Mechelle Wedra and Natalie Cunningham, both of New Jersey, the groom's sisters. They wore periwinkle dresses. Selena Faria of Youngstown, the bride's sister, was flower girl.
Rodney Faria of Phoenix, the bride's brother, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Franky Faria of Phoenix, her brother; Elvis Tavares of Phoenix, her cousin; Jerome Guidetta of New Jersey, the groom's brother-in-law; and Michael Guidetta, New Jersey, his nephew. Ring bearer was Vincent Popovich of Glendale, the bride's son.
The couple were honored during a reception at Arrowhead Country Club.
Mrs. Wedra owns Polly's Deli in Phoenix. Mr. Wedra is self-employed.
The newlyweds live at Glendale address.
