NILES -- The wedding of Christine L. Wallace and Daniel J. Mercer took place at 3:30 p.m. May 11 at First United Methodist Church of Niles.
Parents of the couple are Betsy and Jeff Wallace, 57 Woodland Chase Blvd., and Janet and Joel Mercer, 123 E. John St., Maumee.
The Rev. Barry French officiated, and the couple were honored at a reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex in Liberty.
They are spending their honeymoon in Hawaii and will live in Columbus.
The bride wore a white, sleeveless, peau de soie gown designed with a scoop neckline. Alencon lace accented the bodice and hemline, and the skirt featured inverted hip pleats and fell to a chapel train.
Her sister, Carrie Wallace, was maid of honor wearing a celadon gown. Yellow gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Jennifer Lastic; Joanna Lukz; Heather Mercer, the groom's sister; and Jenn Quinn.
David Mercer performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Shawn Barcalow, Ben Gold, Chris Reichwein and Jeremy Wenning.
Mrs. Mercer holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from Ohio State University and is an accountant with Columbia Gas in Columbus.
Mr. Mercer graduated from OSU with a bachelor's degree in accounting and is an auditor and certified public accountant with KPMG Accounting Firm in Columbus.
