Appreciation picnic
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Protestant Campus Ministry will have a "Campus Ministry Appreciation Picnic" from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Newman Center, 254 W. Madison Avenue near Youngstown State University.
Tickets are $5 per person. Awards will be presented at 6 p.m. Donna Turner will be recognized as board member of the year, and Bethel United Presbyterian Church in Enon Valley, Pa., will be recognized as church of the year.

BOARDMAN -- The Rev. Mary Jo Berry of J.A.G. Ministry will speak at 11 a.m. May 20 when the Youngstown Chapter of Flame Fellowship meets in the Georgianna Parker Activity Center at Boardman Park.
