ADVICE | Biblical diet

Dr. Don Colbert advises eating and lifestyle changes for a better life.
Replace butter, saturated fats and hydrogenated oils with extra virgin olive oil.
Eat whole-grain bread, brown rice and other whole grains.
Eat only small portions of meat, preferably free-range and kosher, without fat. For protein, eat fish, with the exception of shellfish and catfish, which the Jewish laws that Jesus followed considered unclean. Limit cheese.
Drink plenty of water and moderate amounts of red wine.
Add more fresh vegetables to your diet.
Say no to dessert, except for fresh fruit and nuts.
Eat only to fuel your body, and enjoy a meal with friends and family.
Get ample exercise, both aerobic and weight-bearing.
