Swing for Life Golf Classic set



The event planned for June 21 will benefit LifeBanc.
HUBBARD -- The fifth annual Swing for Life Golf Classic will take place June 21 at Pine Lakes Golf Course.
The four-man scramble event will begin with registration and a continental breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 10:30. Lunch will be served at the turn, and an awards dinner will conclude the day's activities at 4:30 p.m.
Cost is $100 for 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a limit of 128 golfers (soft spikes only). To attend the dinner only, the cost will be $20.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, and there also will be special prizes at each hole. Special games will include a birdie challenge, skins' game, mulligans and a 50/50 raffle.
Where funds go
Proceeds from the event will go to LifeBanc, a nonprofit organ procurement organization responsible for coordinating all organ and tissue donations in 20 counties in northeast Ohio.
Serving as host sponsors along with LifeBanc will be WRP Investments Inc., St. Elizabeth Health Center and the Mahoning Valley Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
