MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Linda J. Winter and Richard C. Elam, both of Columbus, were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony March 23 at Central Christian Church.
A reception was held afterward at the Botanic Gardens.
The bride is a daughter of Charles and Sarah Myers, 275 Redondo Road, Youngstown, and the groom is a son of Clara Brommer Holton of Memphis and the late James Elam.
The bride wore a strapless sheath gown of white satin that featured a beaded bodice and hemline and a chapel train.
Honor attendants were the bride's sister, Leslie Lewis, and her niece, Rachael Shimko. Flower girl was Alaina Brommer, the groom's cousin, and also participating were Lauren Lewis and Alysha Shimko, the bride's nieces.
Sharing the duties of best man were Eric and Jason Elam, the groom's nephews, and ushers were Richard Hamilton and David Kelly. Junior usher was Donnie Lewis, and ring bearer was Brett Lewis, nephews of the bride.
An account executive with the Schawk Engraving Corp. in Columbus, the bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in graphic art.
The groom graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in business and is a national account executive for Dr. Pepper/Seven Up of Columbus.
After a wedding trip to the Grand Caymans, the couple live in Columbus.
