GIRARD -- The wedding of Cathleen Carney and Dana Moore took place at 5:30 p.m. April 6 at First Christian Church of Girard with the Rev. Greg Borden officiating.
Parents of the bride are William and Eva Carney, 602 Powers Ave. Mr. Moore is a son of Patricia Moore, 3099 Monteray Drive, Norton, and the late Wayne Moore.
A reception took place at the Mahoning Country Club, and the couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Caribbean.
They are living at 3308 Minuet Lane, Clinton.
The bride's white satin A-line gown featured an empire bodice with a square neckline and short sleeves, and was enhanced with pearls. The skirt flowed to a chapel train.
Colleen Poalson, the bride's sister, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Karin McCullough, Melanie Likens, Lynn Tamburro and Alexis Wofner. They wore cornflower gowns. The bride's niece, Marissa Poalson, was flower girl.
Best man duties were performed by the groom's brother, Eric Moore, and groomsmen were Christopher Carney, the bride's brother; Michael Brindo; Brian Erwin; and Aaron Toomey. Ring bearer was Alexander Poalson, the bride's nephew, and usher was Corey Moore, the groom's son.
Mrs. Moore holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Akron and is a flight attendant with Chautauqua Airlines out of Pittsburgh.
Her husband is employed by the city of Wadsworth.
