MAHONING VALLEY Forum Health to celebrate National Nurses Week

'Nurses Care for America' is the theme.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Forum Health, in support of National Nurses Week, Monday through May 12, has planned a week of activities to celebrate and recognize the work of its 1,800 nurses in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
& quot;Nurses Care for America & quot; is the theme for the 2002 National Nurses Week.
The agenda is as follows:
UMonday -- Kickoff celebration at Austintown Medical Park; 6:30 p.m., candlelight vigil at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, sponsored by AFSME/UNA Local 2026 and SEIU Local 627.
UTuesday -- Celebrations at TMH and the Elm Road Medical Park, Warren.
UWednesday -- Celebration at Northside Medical Center, Youngstown.
UThursday -- Celebration at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, Howland.
UFriday -- Celebration at Beeghly Medical Park, Boardman. At 2 p.m. at Northside Medical Center, Diana Mason of the Ohio Nurses Association will speak on "The Value of Acute Care Nurses -- Placing 'Care' Back in Health Care."
