Doherty-Mangin engagement is made known

Announcing their engagement are Nancy Doherty, 63 N. Hazelwood Ave., Youngstown, and Samuel R. Mangin, 250 Brownswitch Road, Slidell, La.
Parents of the couple are John and Trish Doherty of the Hazelwood Avenue address and Sam and Shirley Mangin, 1079 North Ave., Girard.
The couple have chosen June 1 for their open ceremony to take place at 1 p.m. at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for a reception to be held that evening at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
Miss Doherty graduated from Trumbull Business College in Warren with a degree in accounting and business administration. She will be employed as a technical aide at Planning Systems Inc. in Slidell after her marriage.
Her fiance holds a degree in computer science from Youngstown State University and is a computer scientist with Planning Systems Inc.
