TRUMBULL COUNTY Submissions due for photo contest



Entry forms are available at area businesses, libraries and organizations.
WARREN -- Photo submissions for the Sprint Trumbull Countywide telephone directory contest must be postmarked by April 5 or delivered in person by April 8 to the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County, 347 N. Park Ave.
All entries need to be accompanied by a signed entry form, available at area camera shops, public libraries, the Trumbull Art Gallery and Fine Arts Council.
There is no entry fee to participate.
The theme of this year's contest is "America the Beautiful," and 4x6 color photos should be vertical and unframed.
Rules: They should depict a scene or item relevant to the theme, but images should not include identifiable faces or businesses. No collages will be accepted.
Historic buildings can be included but must be nondenominational. Images cannot include text or logos.
Current residents of the Sprint Northeast Ohio service area may participate in the contest.
The service area includes Bristolville, Brookfield, Champion, Cherry Valley, Cortland, Greene, Hartford, Hubbard, Howland, Johnston, Jefferson, Kinsman, Liberty, Mesopotamia, Mecca, Newton Falls, North Benton, North Bloomfield, Orangeville, Southington and Warren.
Only entries that include a self-addressed stamped envelope will be returned.
Winners will be announced at a TAG reception at 5:30 p.m. April 19. They'll receive $50 savings bonds, and their work will be reproduced on over 150,000 telephone directories.
