GIRARD | Zoning issues

The city's engineering and zoning department is reminding people to comply with three issues:
All contractors doing business in the city must now register with the department, pay a $100 fee at the time of registration and have proof of a security bond and certificates of liability and workers' compensation.
Remind residents that the department will be looking for exterior property maintenance violations. They should keep their properties free of debris.
Remind residents with portable basketball hoops that they must be removed from public streets when not in use.
