Public Health Day to be held at Oakhill

Public Health Dayto be held at Oakhill
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown City Health District will celebrate Public Health Day on Monday with an information and service event at Oakhill Renaissance Place in the entrance lobby. The event is free and open to the public.
The theme for this year is "Healthy People in Healthy Communities." Exhibits from the city health department, pharmaceutical companies and other agencies will be on display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also, there will be free blood pressure screenings; tuberculosis and bone density testing; and blood sugar and cholesterol screenings that cost $5 per test.
People taking the blood sugar and cholesterol test are asked to fast for at least eight hours before the test.
