Accident information
If you are in an accident, try to remain calm. Turn on your vehicle's emergency flashers and secure the safety of your passengers and your vehicle. Call police. Be ready to give the police information about the accident. Then obtain this information:
Date, time and place of the accident.
The name of the other driver, the driver's address and telephone number, the make of the vehicle, the vehicle's license plate number, the driver's license number and the parts damaged.
The owner's name, address, and the name of the owner's insurance company, if the driver is not the owner.
Names and telephone numbers of witnesses.
