Clinic on ponds set
CANFIELD -- The Mahoning County Soil and Water Conservation District and Mill Creek MetroParks will have a pond clinic from 6 to 8:30 p.m. April 11 at the park district farm on U.S. Route 46, across from the Canfield Fairgrounds.
Experts will address such issues as stocking, species and habitat and weed control. In addition, Kevin Swope from the conservation district will discuss the construction of ponds and the part the district can play in that construction.
Reservations are required. Call the SWCD at (330) 533-2231 by April 9.
