YOUNGSTOWN -- Amy Lynn Smith and James Joseph DeMarco were married at 1 p.m. Feb. 23 at New Beginning Church by the Rev. Tom Fortini.
The bride is a daughter of Paul Smith and Cheryl and Frank Tascione, all of Austintown. Mr. DeMarco is a son of James and Sue DeMarco of McDonald and Debbie and Tony Bioncci of Paducah, Ky.
A reception followed at Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald.
The couple are living in Girard.
The bride wore a white satin gown fashioned with spaghetti straps and enhanced with silver glitter.
Maid of honor was Sandy Nickell of Austintown, and Kristen Smith of Austintown, the bride's sister, was bridesmaid. They wore midnight-blue gowns.
Tim Knight of McDonald performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was Jeff Rager of Vienna.
Mrs. DeMarco is pursuing a bachelor's degree in advertising at Youngstown State University and is employed as an accounting clerk at The Vindicator.
Her husband holds an associate degree in criminal justice from Kent State University and is a truck driver with TMC Trucking Co. of Des Moines, Iowa.
