Mothers of Twins honors member



YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club honored Sue Brandenstein as its Mother of the Year for 2002 at a brunch March 9 at Johnny's.
Mrs. Brandenstein and her husband, George, live on Meadowbrook Lane. They have at 12-year-old daughter, Tiffany, as well as two sets of twins, 11-year-old fraternal twins Katelyn and Scott and 6-year-old identical twins, Christopher and George.
A club member for over 10 years, Mrs. Brandenstein has served the club as vice president and treasurer, and as chairman of the membership, hostess, Twindicator and ways and means committees. Last year she was co-chairman of the Ohio Federation Mothers of Twins State Convention held here.
She also serves as vice president of the St. Nicholas Moms and Dads Club and is employed at Wal-Mart in Boardman.
Mrs. Brandenstein will represent the club at the state convention in Toledo in June, where she will compete for the title of State Mother of the Year.
The local chapter was founded in 1948 and is a support organization of mothers of multiples in Mahoning County. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. Anyone interest should call (330) 792-6034.
