Car hits a house on Tangent Street

YOUNGSTOWN -- No one was injured when a 75-year-old South Side woman's car hit a residence on Tangent Street, police said.
The woman, of Wayside Drive, told police she was driving her 1999 Chrysler Cirrus on Tangent Street about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when she overcompensated near a curve, jumped a curb and ran into the corner of a home at 3380 Tangent.
The car also hit a garage door at the home, forcing it into a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer parked inside.
