VIENNA -- Teen Straight Talk, the nonprofit organization that espouses the benefits of abstinence and reserving sexual relations until marriage, has received a $2,000 grant from the Youngstown Foundation.
The money will be used to present programs on abstinence at schools, churches or any other interested groups.

Writing group to meet
BOARDMAN -- The critique group "Focus on Fiction" will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & amp; Nobel Bookstore in Boardman. The group meets for support and encouragement of all types of writing, including fiction, nonfiction and poetry.
Attendees are asked to bring up to 10 pages of their work to discuss and exchange ideas. Beginners and seasoned writers are encouraged to attend. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Marianne Beck at (330) 549-2965.
