Poland, Bristol games on digital
COLUMBUS -- Time Warner Cable digital customers will be able to see live coverage by Ohio News Network of Thursday's state semifinal basketball games.
The Division II Poland-Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary game will air at 2 p.m. The Div. IV Bristol-Delphos St. Johns game tips off at 9 p.m. The ONN channel on Warner systems is 119.
Meet the teamat Boardman
BOARDMAN -- Bill Amero, coach of the Boardman High softball team, will introduce the members of the 2002 team at a public function Monday at the high school cafeteria from 7 to 9 p.m.
The Spartans are ranked No. 20 in the nation by Student Sports magazine.
Scrappers gameson WNIO-AM
NILES -- The Mahoning Valley Scrappers announced that radio station WNIO-AM (1390) will broadcast Scrappers games in the 2002 season.
Mixed bowling
YOUNGSTOWN -- The second annual Youngstown Senior Mixed Doubles bowling tournament will be April 13 at Amron Lanes and April 14 at Boardman Lanes.
Three games will be bowled at each center for a total of six games.
The tournament is open to all ABC/WIBC sanctioned bowlers age 55 and over. You do not have to be a member of a senior league.

LAKE MILTON -- Bob Kitt of Niles aced the 150-yard eighth hole at Old Dutch Mill using a 5-iron. Pat Strange and Jim Tisone witnessed the shot. It was the first hole-in-one for the 74-year-old Kitt.
MUC wrestlers earnacademic awards
ALLIANCE -- Mount Union College had two wrestlers earn National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete Academic All-American honors for 2001-02.
Senior Joe Metcalf, a 125-pounder with a 3.57 grade point average, was named a NWCA Academic All-American for the third consecutive year.
Drew Zollars (157) has a 3.04 GPA and was named for the first time.
TCL/ICL starsto play March 28
COLUMBIANA -- The fifth Tri-County League/Inter-County League all star boys and girls basketball games are scheduled March 28 at 6 p.m. at Crestview High School.
Representing the ICL senior girls will be Jessica Hemphill of Jackson-Milton. Laura Bryer and Katie Travaline of Lowellville, Tara Thompson of Mathews, Trisha Williams of McDonald, Tiffany Hack and Sarah Gerberry of Mineral Ridge and Crystal Schuler, Jenn Toth and Becky Skowron of South Range. Sandi Kohler of Springfield is the coach.
Playing for the TCL will be Jackie Durham of Leetonia, Samantha McKay and Ashley Martin of East Palestine, Kim Brunie of Sebring, Erin Mellinger and Megan Mellinger of Crestview, Lacey Dangelo of Southern and Mandy Clapsaddle, Alexis Thomas and Danna Woolf of United. SALT LAKE CITY -- The French judge at the center of the Olympic figure skating scandal is fighting back against her accusers with a formal complaint sent to the International Skating Union.
Marie-Reine Le Gougne's attorney said the complaint charges ISU technical committee chairwoman Sally Stapleford and pairs referee Ron Pfenning "exercised undue influence" over her and made false accusations.
