YOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor Michael Cariglio heard the exchange of vows between Marilyn Baquiran and Rocco Kovacs Jr., both of 117 E. Westfield Ave., Roselle Park, N.J., during a 3 p.m. ceremony Feb. 23 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
A reception was held at the church social hall, then the couple left on a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii.
The bride is a daughter of Cosmena Baquiran of Tumauini, Isabella, Philippines, and the late Avelino Baquiran. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Rocco Kovacs, 68 Country Green Drive, Austintown.
Mrs. Kovacs graduated with a degree in computers from Araneta University, Monumento Caloocan, Philippines. She is the owner and manager of RNM Landscaping in Roselle Park.
Mr. Kovacs works in ramp service with United Airlines, Newark, N.J.
A sweetheart neckline accented the bride's classic ballgown-style dress of white tulle satin designed with a basque waist.
Honor attendant was Nancy Orola of Roselle Park, and bridesmaids were the groom's cousins, Natalie DePinto, Liberty; Kristi Carelly, Austintown; and Julie Perretti, St. Cloud, Fla. They wore champagne-colored dresses. Chelsea Fusillo of Youngstown, his cousin, was flower girl.
Michael Jacobson of Cairo, N.Y., the groom's cousin, was best man. Groomsmen were Tommy DePinto of Liberty and Chad Jacobson of Brooklyn, N.Y., his cousins, and Angel Collado of Bronx, N.Y. His cousin, Matthew Joseph Fusillo of Youngstown, was ring bearer.
