BOARDMAN -- Trinity Fellowship Church was the setting at 5 p.m. Feb. 22 for the wedding of Ellie Mayhew, daughter of the Rev. Fred and Lyn Mayhew of Callahan Road, Canfield, and A.J. Platt, son of Anthony Platt, Woodhurst Drive, Austintown, and Cheryl Platt, Richard Drive, Champion.
The bride's father officiated, and a reception followed at the Stambaugh Auditorium ballroom in Youngstown. After a honeymoon cruise to the western Caribbean, the couple are living on Indian Run Drive in Canfield.
The bride's sleeveless white satin gown featured a fitted bodice accented with crystals.
Missy Berardinelli and Mandy Mayhew were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Jenny Franklin, Tracy Lee, Britnie Lee, Tami Franklin, Lisa Hanuscak, Stephanie Elliott, Jenna Metthe, Nicole Kachmar, Alexis Hura and Nicole Mediate. Half of the women wore crimson gowns, and the others wore sand-gold gowns. Flower girl was Brooke Lee.
Best men were Richard Platt and Richard Hura, and groomsmen were Brian Berardinelli, Kenny Franklin, Tony Blangero, Stephen Franklin, Mike Platt, Matt Filer, Carl Centofanti, Matt Renton, Derek Ciapala and Shane Morris.
Mrs. Platt, the communications coordinator for Meridian Services Inc. in Youngstown, graduated from Cedarville College.
The groom attends Trinity Fellowship College of Christian Ministries in Youngstown and is a youth pastor at Resurrection Youth Ministries at Trinity Fellowship Church.
