Balog jubilee is celebrated during party

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. James Balog, 32 McKinley St., were guests of honor during a party March 2 at Hartville Kitchen Banquet Room for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts and hostesses for the festivity were the honorees' children and spouses, Karen and Anthony Knapp of Canton; James and Sue Balog, Chuck Balog, and Daniel and Sandy Balog, all of Youngstown; Frank and Joanie Balog and Randall and Brenda Balog, all of Austintown; and Nick and Rosie Balog of Poland.
Mr. and Mrs. Balog are retired.
The former Dorothy Hoffman and Mr. Balog exchanged marriage vows March 1, 1952, at Our Lady of Hungary Church.
The family circle includes 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
