Fire damages Austintown Arby's

AUSTINTOWN -- The cause of a fire late Saturday that heavily damaged the Arby's Restaurant at 701 N. Canfield-Niles Road is not suspicious but has not been determined, the township fire department said.
The cause is still under investigation, firefighters said today.
The fire broke out about 10:30 p.m. on the roof at the front of the restaurant during high winds that knocked down some power and cable lines in the township.
The restaurant was open at the time, but all the people in the building got out without any injuries, fire department officials said.
The fire caused an estimated $300,000 worth of damage to the building and $200,000 damage to its contents. The restaurant was insured, the fire department said.
