YOUNGSTOWN -- Mark A. Herron recently joined Sky Bank as community development officer. In his new position he will be based in Youngstown and will serve eight counties in eastern Ohio, including Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana. Herron earned his bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Akron.
HEALTH CARE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Catherine J. Smotrila, a registered nurse, has been appointed clinical nurse manager for the emergency department at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. She has 25 years of nursing experience, 15 of them in management. Smotrila has an associate in applied science degree in nursing from Youngstown State University and a bachelor's degree in health services management from Point Park College in Pittsburgh. She also serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, where she is chief nurse executive of education and training. She came to Forum from the Akron City Health System, where she was director of utilization management.
LAW
YOUNGSTOWN -- Dawn Rae Grauel, a Youngstown State University graduate, has joined the law partnership of Hahn Loeser + Parks LLP as an associate. Grauel has a bachelor's degree in political science and history from Youngstown State University and earned her law degree from the Ohio State University College of Law. A Columbus resident, she will focus her practice on labor and employment law.
TELEMARKETING
NILES -- Ben Williams has been promoted to evening sales manager at the MCI Call Center in Niles. Williams started with MCI as a sales representative at its Newport News, Va., office three years ago and moved to a supervisory position in Niles two years ago. He is a U.S. Marine veteran.
AUSTINTOWN -- Rachel Flickinger and Heather Logan have joined InfoCision Management Corp. as program supervisors at the company's Boardman call center.
A Salem resident, Flickinger has a bachelor's degree in long-term health care administration from Ohio University and is a licensed nursing home administrator. She came to InfoCision from Harris Interactive, where she was a customer relations representative.
Logan is a Youngstown resident and has a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Youngstown State University. She comes to InfoCision from the Torch online magazine, where she was a weekly contributor.
