VACANCIES Positions open

Army: 1,360 active-duty chaplains. Total vacancies: 85 chaplains. The Army needs 200 to 300 additional Catholic priests.
Navy: 881 chaplains on active duty assigned to the Navy, Coast Guard, Marines and Merchant Marine. Total vacancies: 26 chaplains.
Air Force: 605 active-duty chaplains. Fully staffed but has needs for Catholic priests and mainline Protestant denominations, especially Presbyterians and Episcopalians, as well as Jewish rabbis and Greek Orthodox priests.
