THE LARK FILE What is it?

Lark Enterprises Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides job training and employment service in Lawrence County. The agency primarily works with people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
Lark was founded in 1957 with two clients who did subcontract work for one company. Today there are about 240 people working for numerous area companies and in other programs developed by Lark.
A person is eligible for Lark's services if he or she is at least 18 years old and has the desire to work but has a mental disability that presents a barrier to obtaining or keeping full-time employment.
