Dinner party held to mark Rodgers' 50th

BOARDMAN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rodgers, 56 S. Shore Drive, Boardman was celebrated during a dinner party held Feb. 2 at Antone's Banquet Centre.
Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's children, Beverly A. Rodgers of Boardman and Norman W. Rodgers of Pittsburgh. There are four grandchildren in the family.
Mr. Rodgers and the former Bernice Moosally were united in marriage Feb. 2, 1952, at St. Edward Church. They are members of St. Charles Church.
Mrs. Rodgers retired in 1986 from Ursuline High School, Youngstown, where she was employed as a cook.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Rodgers was employed as a heavy-equipment operator at Standard Slag Co. in Youngstown and retired in 1989.
