NASSAU, Bahamas -- Wedding vows were exchanged June 10 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral by Rebecca Elaine Gray of 2764 January Court, Falls Church, Va., daughter of R. Edward and Suzanne Gray, 538 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, and Matthew John Bavuso of 645 S. 24th St., Arlington, Va., son of Anne Bavuso, North Wales, Pa., and Daniel Bavuso, Philadelphia.
Monsignor Simeon Roberts solemnized the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the couple were honored June 15 at a postnuptial garden party at the home of the bride's parents. They live in Baltimore.
The bride wore a fitted gown of matte satin fashioned with spaghetti straps, and she carried a bouquet of Calla lilies. She also wore an antique watch that had belonged to her great-grandmother, Mary Habuda.
Her sister, Elizabeth Gray of Dublin, Ireland, was honor attendant, and bridesmaid was Kelly Watt of Pittsburgh. They wore haze-gray gowns.
Nicholas Bavuso of North Wales performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were the groom's other brothers, Daniel Bavuso III of Rumson, N.J., and Michael Bavuso of Boston.
The couple are graduates of Loyola College in Baltimore, she with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in school psychology, and he with a bachelor's degree in history.
Mrs. Bavuso is a graduate assistant and counselor at George Mason University and will begin an internship with the Baltimore City Schools this fall.
Her husband is a sales representative for Jansen Pharmaceutical Inc. in Washington.
