BOARDMAN -- St. Charles Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. May 25 as the Rev. Daniel Venglarik celebrated a nuptial Mass for Melinda Leah Ross and Christopher Richard Rappach.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony's before leaving for a honeymoon at Disney World, Fla.
They live in Connecticut.
Parents of the bride are Nicholas V. Ross III and Mrs. GeorgiannDonatelli, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rappach. All are of Boardman.
Alencon lace appliques pearls and sequins adorned the bride's gown. It featured a ballroom skirt and a cathedral train.
Lavender gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Laura Selby, and the bridesmaids, Amy Cormell, Bobbi Jo Bregar, Melissa Ruby, Mylene Cortez, Ann Jackanich, Katie Spatara and Kristi Spatara. Flower girl was Brooke Donatelli.
Best man was Mark Krichbaum, and groomsmen were Shaun Rappach, Matt Spatara, Frank Spatara, Jim Marrie, Ted Uehlinger, Rommel Cortez and Orlando Cortez. Ring bearer was Matthew DeLucia.
The bride, a senior majoring in business administration at Youngstown State University, will complete her studies at the University of Connecticut. She is a level-nine judge for the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges in the Connecticut Central District.
The groom, a mechanical-design engineer with the aerospace division of Pratt Whitney in Manchester, Conn., graduated with honors from the William Rayen School of Engineering at YSU.
