YOUNGSTOWN -- Misa Billet, a senior staff coordinator at the Callos Companies, has earned the Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist designation from the National Association of Personnel Services. The CTS is one of only two designations recognized globally by the personnel services and staffing industry. Knowledge of employment laws, as well as the highest standard of business ethics and practices, is required by NAPS for certification.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission has awarded Sandy DeSantis of Youngstown its Administrator's Award recognizing outstanding work in his position with the agency's employer services unit. He was nominated by his peers. DeSantis has been with the commission for six years and formerly served as manager of human-resource development.
NEW CASTLE -- Joseph P. DePascale, vice president of retirement plan services for Sky Trust NA of New Castle, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Bankers Association 401(k) Employee Benefit and Corporate Services Committee. He will serve a two-year term. DePascale is a graduate of Youngstown State University and is a certified public accountant and a certified financial planner. He joined Sky in 2000 with more than 13 years in public accounting and bank experience.
