KRISTAL MELIMICHAEL CODINA
CINCINNATI -- The Rev. Dennet Juna officiated at 1:30 p.m. June 1 at St. Monica-St. George Church for the wedding of Kristal L. Meli and Michael A. Codina.
Parents of the bride are Darlene Meli, 18000 Western Reserve Road, North Benton, and Dennis Meli, 40 The Ledges, Poland.
Mr. Codina is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Codina, 8862 Innsdale Ave., Spring Valley, Calif.
A reception took place at the Vernon Manor Hotel, and the couple spent their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.
They are living at 86 W. Villa Place, Fort Thomas, Ky.
The bride wore a pearl silk-satin gown designed with a dropped waist and trimmed with beads, rhinestones, sequins, and silver and gold thread. The A-line skirt had inverted double pleats in the back that extended to a sweep train.
JoAnn Drummond was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Michelle Meli, the bride's sister-in-law, and Kathy Dudzik, Joy Meissner and Chris Gregorino. They wore black ensembles.
Best man was the groom's brother, Daniel Codina, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Scott Meli, and John Kirst, Gil Vejar and Chip Laber.
Also participating were the groom's nieces, Melissa and Courtney Codina.
Mrs. Codina graduated from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green and is center director at Sylvan Learning Center.
Her husband holds a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he is a cardiology fellow.
